Giving Back During The Holidays: Perusona Coffee and Food Bank For New York City
This holiday season, Perusona Coffee Company is supporting the fight against hunger by raising funds for Food Bank For New York City. From now through January 9th, 2021 we will be donating $1.00 of every sale of our 12 oz. bags of coffee directly to Food Bank For New York City. This means that every time you purchase coffee from us, you will be helping to provide meals, ending food poverty, and supporting Nutrition Education to low-income New Yorkers in all 5 boroughs, and supporting Food Bank For New York City’s vision “to end hunger by organizing food, information and support for community survival and dignity.” We are extremely enthusiastic and privileged to be to be collaborating with a community of honest and dedicated people devoted to feeding hungry New Yorkers during these difficult times during the COVID pandemic.
As a fellow New Yorker, and as a company founded in New York we are proud to be supporting our local community and giving back this holiday through Food Bank For New York City. For over 36 years, Food Bank For New York City is the city’s largest hunger-relief organization, and they have helped low-income New Yorkers overcome challenging obstacles and accomplish greater independence.
This holiday season we ask that you support Food Bank For New York City with an honorable donation whether it be donating directly to Food Bank For New York City, purchasing our coffee, showing support on social media, or simply educating yourself and promoting awareness about those that go hungry every year in New York City. As a company we are limited in the ways we can help people, but as a community we can make a big impact and come together as one to help others!
